

Cool Kenny was a Christian of Baptist Faith. After suffering from long-term illnesses, he then rededicated his life to Christ. He tithed faithfully and was a member of Los Angeles Baptist Church. Kenneth also served as a board member of Westlake South Neighborhood Council in Los Angeles.
Cool Kenny was born and raised in Louisville, KY. He graduated from Louisville Male High School in 1965. He retired as an Insurance Agent at Supreme Life Insurance Company, where he was employed for over 20 years.
Cool Kenny was a popular and accomplished singer in Louisville, KY, known for his smooth tenor voice. Cool Kenny participated in several singing engagements at popular locations such as Louisville Gardens, The Belle of Louisville, Joe’s Palm Room, and Polynesians, to name a few. Cool Kenny also sung the National Anthem at several sporting events in Louisville, KY. Cool Kenny was an active member of the social club, The Club Family, since in establishment in 1974, in Louisville, KY.
Cool Kenny was preceded in death by his Father Joseph Goodlett Sr., Mother Lula Bailey Goodlett Rhea, brothers Joseph Goodlett Jr. and Terrance Lewis Goodlett, and sisters Pamela Goodlett Scott and Deborah Lynn Goodlett McDonald.
He leaves to cherish his memory his sons Darrell Gore (Cookie), Eric Gore (Teri), Adrian Goodlett, and his daughters Keneshia Goodlett, Candice Miles (Pierre) and Deidre White, 18 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, his sister Gina McClasky, his brother Andrew McClasky Jr., and a host of family, friends (including The Club Family and guys on Forth Hill) and loved ones from around the world.
