Vilma T. Rodriguez

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Vilma T. Rodriguez, who peacefully left us on November 7, 2024, at the age of 92. Born in El Salvador on November 13, 1931, Vilma was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend.

Vilma is survived by her loving three devoted daughters: Delmy Cristales, Ada Guirola, and Alaida Rodriguez. She was a cherished grandmother, whose love and presence brightened the lives of her 5 great grandchildren as well.

Family was the heart of Vilma's life. She deeply treasured time spent with her loved ones, often filling her home with warmth, laughter, and the delicious smells of her home-cooked meals. Cooking, sewing, and tending to her garden were some of the ways she expressed her care and devotion.

Vilma's vibrant personality was matched by her love for life. She was a jokester who always knew how to bring a smile to everyone around her. Her favorite words, "manita" with a slight gesture with her hands which meant, "throw the dice!" Her infectious laughter and her favorite words, "NO TE ENOJES" which was her way of saying she wanted the play the board game "SORRY." She always had a sweet way to remind her family to cherish the lighter side of life.

A passionate traveler, Vilma loved exploring new places, and her adventures took her across Europe, South America, and Mexico. She had a deep appreciation for music, especially the timeless ballads of Pedro Infante, whose songs filled her home and heart with joy.

Vilma was known for her kindness, her generosity, and her ability to make everyone feel welcome. Her absence leaves a void that will be felt by all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by her love and laughter.

May she rest in peace, reunited with loved ones gone before her. Her legacy of warmth, humor, and love will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know her.
