Alice Rae Schuchardt was born December 5, 1924 and passed away peacefully on April 22, 2017 in San Luis Obispo, CA. She was preceded in death by Patricia Ann Flynn and her husband of 65 years, Harold Edgar Schuchardt. She is survived by Michael Schuchardt and Jennifer Manos. Alice was a loving and devoted wife and mother of three children. Harold and the children were blessed with a woman who was beautiful and charming with a great sense of humor. Her willingness to volunteer her time supporting all of their endeavors was a large part of their success. This made her the consummate Air Force wife for 30 years and through three wars. Alice was born and raised in Marianna, FL where she completed high school. She won awards playing the clarinet in the school marching band and also loved to swing and tap dance. She may personally hold one of the biggest John Denver collections ever, but also had a passion for the Moody Blues. Alice was an avid seamstress and made clothes and dance costumes for her children and grandchildren. Alice was at her happiest when the whole family was together. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. Family and friends are invited to a memorial service with a reception to follow on May 6, 2017 at 11:00AM at Los Osos Valley Mortuary.
