On Sunday, November 8, 2020, Glenn J. Pogatchnik, 71, died peacefully in his sleep.
Glenn was born to Mary Lou and Albert Pogatchnik in Visalia Calif. on October 10, 1949. The family later moved to Delano Calif.
Glenn successfully ran a music business that was founded by his parents in Delano for many years. Anyone who knew Glenn could not forget his many passions. He was a self-taught gifted guitarist, a music historian, videographer and family photographer. He was a great storyteller with a quick wit and a remarkable memory.
Glenn was compassionate by nature. He was the primary caregiver for his mother for several years after she suffered a stroke.
He was one of a kind, sometimes fiery but, he will never be forgotten. Rest in peace, brother.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Lou, father, Albert and sister Annette Skelton. He is survived by his brother Ronald Pogatchnik and wife Pam of Hayden, Idaho, sister Nancy Matus and husband Michael of Los Osos Calif, Aunt Diana Yount of Boston, Mass, brother-in-law William Skelton of San Luis Obispo, Calif., several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and many friends.
The Funeral Mass at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Los Osos, California is cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions and safety concerns for all. The Interment will take place on Monday, November 30, 2020 at 2:00pm at Los Osos Valley Memorial Park, 2260 Los Osos Valley Road, Los Osos, California.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wilshire Hospice 277 South St. Suite R, San Luis Obispo, Calif. 93401 and/or Woods Humane Society 805 543-9316 ext. 33.

Rest In Peace , Uncle Glenn. We have thought of you often over the last few months , even though we knew this was coming we were still sad to hear the news . You were always such a big personality and you’ll be missed ! Lots of love from Heather and family .

Glenn is at peace now. He was truly a gifted guitarist and singer.
Hopefully he is enjoying Mom & Dad and Annette. I am sure we will be joined together in a happy place.
