Marie Josephine Robertson

Marie Josephine Robertson, a beloved and adventurous soul, passed away on December 18, 2025, at the age of 96. Born on March 4, 1929, she was the second to youngest child in a family of four, hailing from an Italian family in Pennsylvania.

Marie's life was a testament to devotion and loyalty, with family always being her first priority and her greatest love. At ninety-six, she was a witness to a lifetime of births, triumphs, and losses; yet, her greatest perspective remained watching her family flourish into the legacy it is today. She was married to Raymond Robertson for over 50 years, and together they had three children: Larry, Edward, and Dyan. A dedicated wife, Marie cared for Ray by herself for many years during his battle with dementia.

Despite her family commitments, Marie was hard-working and managed to have a successful career with the Sonic cable company. Her passion for helping others was evident in her 17 years of volunteer work at French Hospital.

In her personal life, Marie found joy in gardening, maintaining her entire home by herself. She was also an avid reader and an esteemed line dancing teacher.

Marie was a strong and faithful woman, devoted to her family and leaving behind a legacy of love and dedication. Her wonderful spirit touched all who knew her.

A Catholic service will be held at St. Elizabeth's Ann Seton in Los Osos: 2050 Palisades Ave, Los Osos, CA 93402 at 12pm. Following the church service will be a graveside at 2pm at Los Osos Valley Memorial Park: 2260 Los Osos Valley Road, Los Osos, CA, 93402.
