One of my earliest memories is wanting to hold baby Tiana every chance I got, I couldn’t get enough of her. And watching Aunt Mary Jane with her was something I’ll never forget. She was the kind of mother who made everything look effortless, so loving, so present, so full of grace. Her laugh lit up every room, and she always knew how to make people feel special. Her warmth, humor, and deep love for her family left a mark on all of us. I’ll carry those memories close to my heart forever.

My Aunt Mary Jane had the best laugh full of joy and mischief and a sense of humor that made every moment around her light and fun. She used to tell me I should go on Miss America and sing, even though she was the one with the voice of an angel. That was just her…always lifting others up, always making us laugh. Her warmth, her wit, and her beautiful spirit will be missed more than words can say.

Every time we visited SLO as kids, there were two things we always looked forward to: waffles from our favorite hotel and anything my Aunt Mary Jane would cook. She had a way of turning even the simplest meals into something special, filling the room with warmth, laughter, and that unmistakable feeling of home. Her smile, her sense of humor, and the love she poured into everything she did will be deeply missed. I’m so grateful for the memories, and I’ll carry her spirit with me always. ❤️

Last minute get together, became an evening filled with love and laughter. It was truly a blessing to be in her company.

My heart breaks for Tiana and Tommy, all of their friends and family. I will never forget many years ago when I was married to Ronnie Gupton Junior Tommy’s cousin.   MJ and Tommy invited us to church. They were so kind. MJ was the sweetest person and didn’t even really know me and overtime. We got to know each other. And she welcomed me into her home and her family and her church and I’m grateful for that always.

She was full of life and happiness, she introduce me to family, karaoke, and good Filipino food. Just so happened we were in Las Vegas the same time in Nov 21 and met up for brunch at South Point. It was the first time John and Tom met too. She will always be in our hearts and be missed.

Cousin Tommy and Cousin Mary Jane  came to visit the family in Fresno! Was a Blessing we had a beautiful time all love!

Mary Jane was a true blessing to me and my family.  She prayed for my son Todd fervently although she was fighting her own battle. I loved her soft demure voice. She carried herself like a woman of God should.  She loved her husband Tommy and her daughter Tiana very deeply ❤️ She loved her stepson  Khalil as well. She was a giving and loving woman. God wanted her home with Him. She now rests in paradise.  Although she will be missed she's now in a glorious place. You are loved forever. Your legacy is beautiful.
