Rebecca Suzanne Heath , “Becky”, passed away December 6, 2024, at the Age of 73.
In the arms of her devoted wife, Becky left this world with her famous grin, as her wife Nereida held her listening for the last beat of her heart. . Along side their devoted daughter, Bryannah holding her hand. Becky’s passing, Caused by “RPD”. Rapid Progressive Dementia, resulted from a rare Neurological condition. Caused by COVID-19 Vaccine.
Becky was Born on December 22, 1950, in Saint Louis, Missouri, she moved with her family as a toddler to Riverside, California. Graduated from Norte Vista High School, it was during these formative years that she discovered her Buddhist faith setting the stage as a fearless, faith based , life long mission. Forming friendships with Japanese exchange students, she joined the Soka Gakkai International (SGI), a Nichiren Buddhist lay organization dedicated to peace and happiness. On February 7, 1969, she embraced the practice, which profoundly shaped her entire adult life. Becky moved to Japan to deepen her understanding of Buddhism and enrolled in Art Collage During this transformative time, she met her lifelong mentor, SGI President Daisaku Ikeda, and solidified her commitment to world peace. Her decades of continues efforts in faith was recognized in 2008 as a recipient of The Distinguished Pioneer Award.
Becky had lived, worked and co-founded businesses in the Malibu /Santa Monica Area 1984 - 2022 . For a short time she relocated with her wife to Hanford CA. Eventually making her final move to Shell Beach CA.
Beckys lifelong passion for music. She was an accomplished, talented drummer and percussionist imitating while listening to the Beatles Ringo Starr. In then70’s and 80’s while promoting world peace, performing in countless SGI activities and parades around the country and Japan. In the 90’s she found her niche and dream with “The Dark” & “Fate's Hand," recording several records and playing at iconic venues like The Whisky a Go Go. With bandmates. Gina Acuna, Ariel Penn and Marina Russell.
Professionally, Becky excelled in technology and electronic sales for over 30 years, earning top industry awards. In 2007 she and wife Nereida co-founded HSi, business development, and non-profit business consulting, web and marketing services. This led business their success as Entrepreneurs . They were known for their unique integrity, while Networking with friends and neighbors in the communities in and around Malibu. MBSC Malibu. Celebrity Attic, Neural along with dozens of other ventures. The couple was a pioneering as a team continuing to promote Kosen Rufu and LGBT awareness.
Becky cherished her fur children. Most Memorably, Chammy, Moxie, Boku, and most recently Shiba who passed shortly before Becky 2009-2024.
She is survived by her loving wife Nereida; their daughter Bryannah; son-in-law Sam; GrandDaughter Dahli (iDalliah) Grandsons Jayce and Keanu Heath; Her Mother Edith C. Heath; Brother William “Bill” Heath Jr. his wife Linda ; Neice Dr. Jennifer Heath &. Partner Rachel (children Austin and Jenna); Nephew David Heath his wife Deanna and Ruby all of Arizona . .Neice Cherisa McAlister, Tulare . Sister (In law ) Josephine Eusebio of Kauai Hawaii. Baby Brother Charles “Robin” Heath of Florence Arizona . Also, Best Freind and Caretaker Michael DeMello, for his love, kindness, friendship, support and care.
Becky was predeceased by her father, William W. Heath Sr In 2007.
Becky marched to the beat to her own drum. With her heart always on her sleeve. Regardless of the obstacles, her faith brought beauty and happiness to every person met. Her legacy for Kosen Rufu ( World Peace) and to help others become happy continues to shine in the smiles of the lives she touched. Her wife states, “how fortunate and privileged we all are to have known her. I am so Lucky, she gave me the rest of her life with me”.
