Thomas Lee Faller

Thomas Lee Faller, 70, passed away on August 8, 2020 in San Luis Obispo, CA. He was born in Minnesota on June 22, 1950 to Raymond Carl Faller and Marietta Jean Hokel Faller. Thomas was preceded in death by his older brother Ronald, his older sister Judi, and his younger sister Sharon. He is survived by his older sister Janet and his younger sister Linda.

Thomas joined the United States Air Force in 1969. Out of his three years of service he spent one year in Vietnam as a Refrigeration Specialist. Upon his return home in 1971 Thomas became a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW).

Once back home Thomas picked up his favorite activity of fishing along the piers in San Mateo County. He loved to cook and even sold his smoked fish to local restaurants. He also enjoyed playing poker with family and friends, playing with his nieces and nephews, was a huge NASCAR fan, and was known to be a bit of a prankster.

Thomas eventually moved to the central coast where he worked as a Manager in automotive sales. He continued his love of fishing along the coast and his involvement in the VFW.

On September 26, 2020, Thomas will be scattered at sea by Sub Sea Tours of Morro Bay in the waters off the Central Coast that he loved so well.
