Angela Watson

Angela Watson, 71, of Louisville passed away on July 2, 2023. She was born on June 13, 1952 to the late Arthur and Mattie Rule. Preceding her in death is her granddaughter Rachel Walker. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 42 years, Roy Watson, daughters; Kristin Walker (Brian), Karen Walker (Brandon), Leslee Spaulding, Ashley Poore (Josh), grand-children; Alexis, Brooke, Megan, Noah, Ava, Maverick, Preston, and Mallory.

Angie graciously worked as a nurse in the healthcare industry for more than forty years and retired from Norton Healthcare. She was an avid UK fan and loved trips to Sanibel Island. A true passion for Angie was volunteering at Crisis Pregnancy Centers across town. She was a longtime member of Northeast Christian Church, where for many years, she displayed her talent on the piano during services. Angie’s favorite role in life was being a Grammy and she was “The Best Grammy Ever”! Although she never received an award, she may have been Amazon’s most valuable customer. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A funeral service for Angie will be held on Thursday July 6, 2023 at 11am in the chapel of Arch L Heady & Son Westport Village 7410 Westport Rd. Louisville, KY 40222. Visitation will be Wednesday July 5, 2023 from 3pm-8pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Angie’s name to Little Way Pregnancy Resource Center 515 W Oak St. Louisville, KY 40203.
