Anita G. King, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2025. She was a former member of St. Ann's Catholic Church. She was a former employee of Ransdell Surgical and retired from Baptist East Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Violet Eversole. She is survived by her children, Jeff King, Deborah Byerly(Mark), and Steve King(Stacey); grandchildren, Meagan Messuri(Jeremy), Jordan King, Nate Byerly,(Cheyann), Blake Byerly, Justin King, and Jason King; great-grandchildren, Emma and Paxton; sisters, Pat Anderson(Jim), Beverly Woodall, and Karen Scherer(Mark); and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 2pm Thursday, September 18, 2025 at Evergreen Funeral Home with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:30am-2pm that day at the funeral home. Memorial donations in Anita's memory can be made to the charity of the sender's choice.
