Barbara N. Bishop, 80 of Crestwood, Kentucky passed away on September 1, 2021. She was born on April 28, 1941 to the late Bernard & Nell Higgason; and her husband, Anthony J. Bishop, also precedes her in death.
She is survived by her sons, Anthony T. Bishop, Christopher Bishop (Shannon) and her daughter, Sarah Naslund; grandchildren, Dalton, Lauren, Jessica Lynn Bishop and Alex Naslund (Sara); as well as her long-time friend, Karen Lynema. Also many friends & children at Kentucky Tae Kwon Do who were like her children & grandchildren and to whom she was known to as TKD Grandma, especially Sean Ramey (Christy), David Deuchers and Miss Cindy Wathen.
Barbara loved reading and doing research, and just being there, helping with questions and problems. She was an avid U of L fan.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218, with a service to honor the life of Barbara to follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Barbara will be laid to rest at Resthaven Memorial Park.
