Barbara Diane Cash

Barbara Diane "Robertson" Cash, 62, of Louisville, passed away on the morning of September 18, 2012 at Christopher East Health Care Center. She had worked as a manicurist for many years always enjoying the friendships made with her clients.

"Babs" as she was known, was very much a people person, an awesome cook, loving dinners and holidays with her family. Her Scottish heritage was very important to her and she loved attending the clan get togethers. She was a perfectionist of sorts always making sure everything she did was absolutely at its best and the best of her ability. Crafting was part of her life as well, painting, caligraphy and more importedly her being an exceptional seamstress, making all sorts of costumes through the years.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Jerome Edgar and Catherine Marie Davis Robertson, Jr.

Cherishing her memory is her loving husband of 39 years, Frederick "Fred" A. Cash; sister, Vicki (Carl) Shelton; nephew, Todd (Kelly) Beard; niece, Robin (Jason) Reece; step-son, Michael Cash; 3 step-grandchildren and 5 grand nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, September 24, 2012 at noon, at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with cremation to follow. A gathering of family and friends will be on Sunday from 2-8 p.m. and after 10 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home.

The family has requested that donations be made to Hosparus.
