I've known Barb since 1974. She graduated one year before me and always made me smile. We would work together at times or go to lunch and just laugh. I was out of town when I got the horrible news but made it back in time to go to the funeral home. I want to apologize that I ran in and out of there without talking to any of you because I was so upset. Please know 
that I thought the world of Barb and already miss her terribily. My heart also aches for all of you and my thoughts are with all of you. .. . . .

I have worked with Barb for the past 10 years. She came in every morning with a smile on her face. Her patients loved her as she was so kind and patient with them. I guess God needed another angel to help Him, and he got one in Barb. She will be missed by all of us! Rest in peace friend!

Chris, the obituary picture of Barbara says it all. Barbara was a beautiful person inside and out, and all of our lives will be changed with her passing. My heart aches for the ones she left behind. James and I pray that God will comfort you all and help you find peace. My best memory of Barbara is the first time she cantered Fancy. I looked back and she had her arms stretched out and with a big grin on her face she yelled "I'm flying!" Now she is flying with the angels.

Barbara had been working at Norton's a few years before I started 32 years ago. She was always a bright spot as you passed her in the hall with her beautiful smile and eyes. She was, what we don't have so much anymore, THE quitisennsial nurse. She was skilled and knowledgeable yes and filled with compassion. The hospital will be less bright without her. Heartfelt condolances at your loss.

Chris, Haven't seen you much since Fulltone, but want you to know we're thinking about you & your entire family.  Barb will always be with you in your heart. Our prayers are with you, buddy.
