HEATH, BARBARA L., 68, of South Louisville peacefully passed from this life on Friday, April 16, 2010 at Norton Audubon Hospital. She was a native of Breckinridge Co., KY, a retired employee of Bell South, a member of the Red Cross Volunteers, Kling Center, Louisville Central Labor Council, Metro United Way, a Philip Randolph Institute Member, an executive board member of the Communication Workers of America local # 3310 and Carlisle Avenue Baptist Church. She is survived by her sisters, Madelle Gunter (Willie) and Linda Jacobs (Garry); sisters-in-law, Juanita Heath and Mary Dillander; nieces and nephews, Cindy, Lynn, Kitty, Rob, Margie, Donnie, Sherry, Scott, Larry, Heather, Nathan, Heath, Brad and Cheryl; great-nieces and nephews, Kiaya, Cameron, Cole and Sophia; her CWA brothers and sisters; and her Gold Card Club family.
A celebration of Barbara's life will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home, 3601 Taylor Blvd. with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
