Born December 5, 1937 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Irvin and Genevieve Weiss Schultz. She retired from PNC Bank after 30 years of dedicated service as a Mortgage Loan Clerk. Barbara was a hard worker all throughout her life. She was best known for being a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother, great grandmother and everyone's hero.
Her husband, Melvin Willard; and two children precede her in death.
Left to carry on her beautiful memory are sister, Arlene Biven; children, Beverly Hilger (Rick), Jean Locy (Mark) ,Kim Jones (Robert), David Schmitt, Michael Schmitt, Michelle Crawford (Dale), and pet daughter Cassie. Also surviving are 25 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
A service celebrating the life of Barbara will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Private interment at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
