He was born July 7th, 1939, in Greasy Creek, Kentucky to Chris Adkins and Frankie Mullins. Bennett was a loving father, son, brother, grandfather, and friend. He devoted his life to providing for his family. In his life, Bennett worked as a Kitchen Cabinet Builder for H.J. Scheirich CO.
He is preceded in death by his parents Chris Adkins and Frankie Mullins; ten brothers and sisters, as well as many beloved family members and friends.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 68 years Ethel Adkins; his sister, Carol Alvey; his daughters, Diane Vencion (Michael), Angie Franklin; and his grandchildren, Christopher Vencion (Amanda), Amy Franklin (Amanda), and Tommy Franklin (Megan).
A visitation for Bennett Lloyd Adkins will be held in Evergreen Funeral Home in Louisville, Kentucky on February 18th, 2026, from 1:00pm to 7:00pm. Funeral service at 11:00AM on February 19th, 2026. Bennett will be placed in Evergreen Cemetery.
