Betty will be remembered with deep respect and enduring affection by all who knew her. She was an active member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and of the Hope Sunday School class. She was an avid crafter, enjoyed traveling and going on cruises. During her life, she loved to read, and always gave back to her community.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Phillip McPherson and Thelma Crowe, and her sister Phyllis Cox.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years Kenneth Foushee, and her children Ken Foushee (Kathy) and Kathy Ann Foushee, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 8519 Preston Highway, Louisville, KY 40219, on March 22, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. A second visitation will take place at the same location on March 23, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.
A Funeral Service will be held at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home, on March 23, 2026, at 10:00 am.
A Committal Service will follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West, 4400 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40216, on March 23, 2026, at 12:00 pm.
