Betty Lou Wilkerson Westenhoefer, 84, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, with her loving family beside her. She was born May 25, 1932 in Odessa, MO to the late Phillip and Pearl Barker Wilkerson. She was retired from Fisher Packing Company, and was a member of Local 227. She was a longtime member of Christ Evangelical U.C.C. where she volunteered as the building manager and caretaker, and was a member of the Women’s Guild. Betty loved to bowl and won several trophies.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Edward in August 2015, and her sister-in- law Wilma Westenhoefer
She is survived by her loving daughter Janet W. Kleinhelter (Todd), her brother- in- law, Bob Westenhoefer and sister- in- law, Marie Westenhoefer, several nieces and nephews and her precious dog, Tippy.
Services to celebrate Betty’s life will be held 10 am Monday, June 13, at Christ Evangelical U.C.C. 1228 E. Breckinridge St. with interment at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be Sunday 2-8 pm at Arch L. Heady-Cralle, 2428 Frankfort Ave. She will lie in state on Monday after 9 am at church.
