Betty is preceded in passing by her brother James W. Cooke and her sister Maxine Gardner.
On August 17, 1957 Betty married A. B. Sandefur. She is survived by her husband, her children; Jenni Franklin (Fred), Tricia Schel, Juli Sandefur, and Tom Sandefur, 3 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Betty retired from Jefferson County Public Schools and was a homemaker. She was also a member of Broadway Baptist Church.
