Betty J. Spurrier 82, of Crescent Hill, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Palliative Care at Baptist Health. She was born January 18, 1931 to the late, Russell B. and Ethel Morgan Sheridan. She was a retired Customer Service Representative with Sears. She was a member of Clifton Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Virginia Peyton, and brother, Russell M. Sheridan.
She is survived by her 2 sons, David (Sharon), and Richard Spurrier. Her God-daughter Lauren Pressman ( Chuck), her 5 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren, and several close friends.
Betty was a very loving and giving person. In doing so, she bequeathed her body to the University of Louisville Medical School.
Visitation will be held 10 am to Noon this Saturday, with a service at Noon, at Arch L. Heady-Cralle Funeral Home, 2428 Frankfort Ave.
