She was a former member of Prospect Christian Church and a current member of Southeast Christian Church and was an active member of NAMI. Her grandchildren affectionately called her "Dobbye". She was a retired Administrative Assistant in the Legal and Healthcare Industry. Bettye always would give her heart to anyone who was accepting of it.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Mary Wilhoyte; sisters, Juanita Barrett and Helen Wilhoyte and a brother, Doug Wilhoyte.
She will continue to be honored by her four children, Nando Trevino (Rebecca) of Louisville, Ed Trevino (Beatriz) of Hawaii, Lisa Trevino (Leslie Hartung) of Louisville and Luis Trevino of San Antonio, TX; four beautiful grandchildren, Adam, Brad, Sarah, Tahlia Trevino; nieces and nephew, Mary, Ruth and Joe Barrett.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday at 12:00pm in the chapel of Arch L. Heady and Son at Westport Village. Visitation will be from 2:00pm - 8:00pm on Sunday and after 10:00am on Monday. Burial will be in Harrods Creek Cemetery.
