He was born in Clarkson, KY to the late Otto and Bertha Bruner.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Mildred; daughter, Brenda Ralston; brothers, Raymond and Howard Bruner; and sisters, Marie Phillips and Mary Hilkey.
He was a wonderful craftsman and loved making beautiful clocks of which he has 10
Left to cherish his memory are his son, Steven Bruner (Theresa); granddaughter, Kristie Kane; great-grandson, Mason Kane; great-granddaughter, Morgan Higdon; brother-in-law, Guy Vantrease (Frances); several nieces; a nephew; and good friend, Grace Patterson.
Visitation will be Friday, June 27, 2025, 11am-12pm, at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Funeral service will follow at 12pm in the chapel at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest in Resthaven Memorial Park.
