Dear Bobby, i wish i had the chance to tell you how much i respect you now that i look back on our contentious relationship during my high school years. How i treated you was 100% wrong. You deserved much better. If we meet in that great void i will make it up to you.
Against all odds i had a very successful life.
And have been very happy. I have traveled the world, had beautiful homes, and a great wife.

I miss his smile and his love for music! I enjoyed waiting on him at Cracker Barrel. I wish I could open his cereal for him one more time. I know he is happy to be with his wife again.

As an alumna of PRP's first graduation class in 1962, I know what a marvelous influence and impact Mr. Green had on our class.  We both adored him and held him in awe--a rare and marvelous balance for anyone in education. Later, I was blessed to find myself a colleague of David's and a church friend of David, Vicki and their outstanding children.  Had I never met Mr. Green, I would still have instinctively understood the love, honorable values and strong direction with which he blessed and guided his family.  His memory, stong faith and noble character will live on in this world, and his precious soul will live forever with his Lord.  With love to the family always...

I have used the Harmonic of Louisville for several years at our GE retirees club. We will  miss Bobby so much. We enjoyed his singing and his personality.

My husband and I feel that we were truly blessed to have had Mr. Green in our lives.  He was a great man and such an inspiration to all that knew him and the community.  He and his beautiful wife were always at everything PRP and celebrated right along with every success.  He will be so missed. Mr. Green was an inspiration to me during my career in education.  He provided me with direction during my high school years and leadership while I pursued my masters at UL. Class of 1969.

Bobby Green has been my friend and brother in Christ since 1964.  I happpily remember my teaching days at PRP High School and what a tremendous principal and friend he was to faculty, students, parents, and community...During the past few years, I have reminded him what a great leader he was and how students loved him..My condolences to his wonderful family; I will miss him greatly...

Principal Green always had a smile on his face. I will always remember him. My sympathies to his family & loved ones.

Mr. Green set an example of leadership in the educational process that is sadly lacking in todays schools. He knew his students,& showed us he cared in the scholars, sportsman, and the everyday students. He was a great gentleman who the students & teachers respected. He made us proud to be a part of PRPHS because he was proud of all that was achieved. 
We were all so sorry he was too ill to join us at the '71 Reunion this summer.

What a great impact you had on our family when our father died in 1963,you shared your self with our family and had such an impact on are lives, life,education and work ethic.
It was always great to visit with you at our reunions and chat about (The Day) thanks for your time over the years and the butt bustings.

Great mentor. Taught me more in a year than 4 years of college. Both how to teach and how to lead, especially in tough times. His impact on those whose lives he touched was huge. Condolences to his family.

I wish I could attend the services but am out of town for the week. We loved Bobby and he was a wonderful encourager to me. You all are in our thoughts and prayers.

Mr. Green was a wonderful man, I graduated in 1966, and even February of this year, he always knew me and that I use to sing in a band.  You are now in heaven with Mr. Pendleton our band manager.
