

Bobby Joe Ralston, 84 of Louisville, Kentucky, returned to his Heavenly home on Friday, November 29, 2024. He was born in Glasgow, Kentucky, on August 4, 1940 as he is preceded in Heaven by his wife Barbara Ann Ralston; his parents Frank C. Ralston and Bonnie Paige Ralston (Hannigan), as well as his brother Billy F. Ralston, Sr., and his nephew Billy J. Ralston, Jr.
He is survived by his children, Todd F. Ralston (Tina), Michael E. Ralston, and Regina L. Warren (Herbert); his grandchildren Jonathan "J.A." Warren, and Landon R. Olando; his sister-in-law Brenda C. Deely; and nieces and nephews Denise McCreary (Gail), Robin, Pamela Joe Wilson (Zac), Bonnie G. Campbell (Jerry), Donald Jr., John Jr., and Robert.
Visitation will be held on Thursday December 5, 2024 from 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM and Friday December 6 from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM, at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road. A Masonic Service will be held Thursday, December 5, 2024 at 6:00 PM.
A celebration of Bobby's life will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024, at 1:30 PM at the funeral home with entombment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. A Masonic Service will be held Thursday evening.
Bobby served in both the Kentucky Air National Guard and the U.S. Army Reserves, retiring as a Master Sergeant. He also proudly served his communities as a volunteer Firefighter in both the Black Mudd and Fern Creek Departments. He was an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer and retired from General Electric. He was a graduate of the University of Louisville School of Business. He worked tirelessly into his 70's working for both Derby Manufacturers and Staples.
