One thing that I will always remember about Grandma is she was always doing something. Whether that something was gardening, cooking, playing tea party with me, or setting up the little nativity scene that we put up every single time I was over.  It never failed that she would have a big ole pitcher of sweet tea and blueberry muffins every day you went over to her house. Grandma was so supportive of everything I have ever done and I will miss her dearly. She truly was an amazing woman. Grandma Bonnie was beautiful, funny, sweet, intelligent, and so much more. I'll miss our tea parties, gardening days, rock hunts, cooking classes, and "scones"😂. I loved Grandma more than she ever knew and I always will love her. 

Out of every time that i visited my grandma i always knew that i was going to have a good time. I remember making bluberry muffins with her just to call my sister over to enjoy it together. Or the very special occasions like mothers day when everyone came over for a cookout that ended up having more laughs while cooking the food then complaments on how the food was. But we all know its because we were making it. Grandma had the special touch. I speant a couple of my birthdays there and every time grandma and my mom would make things special. Grandma was a strong woman someone that you couldnt ever forget weather its the smell of food that would bring u back or a beutiful garden that you could imagine her planting she will never be forgotten

One thing I definitely inherited from my Grandma is the inability to share my written feelings within a few short paragraphs. So, this 2000 character limit isn't in my favor. I have far too many memories of Grandma to pick just one. Today, my heart aches from the loving memories because I deeply long for more of those moments with her! I pray that a time will come when those memories bring me comfort and I can share them with my future grandchildren.  
I will always remember her as a young at heart, fiesty, creative, animal loving, fashionista Grandma 💙 She wasn't the stereotypical "Grandma" knitting in her rocking chair, wearing a button up cotton dress and support hose but I loved that about her because she was who she wanted to be, not who anyone thought she should be. When she fought for something she believed, she fought hard but when she loved, she loved hard. Although some of her ways were misunderstood at times, the fact remains that she loved her family with all of her heart and we all loved her far beyond what words could describe! 

"Auntie" Bonnie has always been and will always be an angel. When I met her back in the 80's, she was a bright, shiny light and continued to be that way throughout the years, even thru her trials and tribulations regarding her health. She always had a positive compliment for me, always had love in her voice when I spoke with her. I only wish she had lived closer after we'd reconnected so that I could have visited her more often.  

My heartfelt sympathies go out to her family ~ who she cherished so much. There are no words that will ever make up for Bonnie's absence in your lives but I hope that over time, the memories you cherish will ease the pain you feel in that absence.

To the mom that supported me no matter what and was always my biggest cheerleader! Your door and heart was always open to me and I will eternally be grateful. You taught me so many things that have benefited me in so many aspects in my life. I pray that I will continue to make you proud until we see each other again. I love you with all my heart and soul😘💕💕BMF!

My most fond memory is playing dress up with all of her beautiful clothes and jewelry.  She would call us out like on a run way and put on a fashion show for her. She always made th smallest things in life spectacularly fun. 
I’ll miss you grandma! 

Bonnie and I shared many an adventure, we wrote articles, traveled, shared dinners, loved shopping and dressing up. She was always an elegant dresser. Bonnie loved life and had such passion for her girls. She was so artistic and could do so many fabulous crafts. I will treasure all the memories.   Big comforting hugs to her family.

Grandma trying to think of just one memory is impossible. You meant so much to me. I wouldn't be the person I am today without you. I learned so much from you.  We bonded over our love for art and animals and you always pushed me to pursue my dreams. I love you grandma, you are truly missed.

I do find comfort in knowing you are with Grandma Effie and Pap Paw Herbie.

Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Effie Hartlage; her husband, Edward Hunter;  great grandson, Jamin Johnson; and sister in law, Linda Hartlage.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Cindy (Wayne) Henrick, Billie Jeannine Vaughn, Lisa Thompson, Angie Mills; grandchildren, Stacy (Chris) Boone, Tiffany Simon, Jacob Thompson, Sierra Mills, Chase Mills; 7 great- grandchildren; and brother, Ronnie Hartlage.
