Bonnie worked as a telephone operator and in retail. She also was the caregiver for her husband and daughter, providing the love, care and support they needed.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Stratton; and daughter, Robyn Lynn Daugherty.
She is survived by her son David Jones (Vicki); grandchildren, David Lee Jones, Jr. (Morgan), Aaron Jones (Tanya), Jacob Jones (Kayla), Rachel Marie Hessig (Larry) and Sarah Rose Daugherty; great-grandchildren, Rosalynn, Anastasia, Jaxon, Lillie Mae, Emmanuel, Jacqueline, Isaiah and a baby boy on the way; sister, Anita “Netz” Baugh (Ralph); and a host of extended family and friends. Please wear blue jeans to the service in honor of Bonnie.
Funeral service will be held at 12 pm on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Hwy. Visitation will be on Friday, July 18, 2025 from 5 pm until 8 pm and on Saturday from 11 am until the time of service at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery.
