She was born August 4, 1940 in Cadiz, KY, the daughter of Clarence and Pearl Hendricks Bush. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Milford Slone; second husband Henry Dewald; a daughter, Debbie and a brother, Jerry.
Brenda worked in housekeeping at General Hospital until her retirement.
She leaves to cherish her memory, one son, David Slone (Becky); four grandchildren, Mary Ann, Stephanie, Eric and Dave; 5 great-grandchildren and one on the way; sisters, Joyce, Ruby, Betty Ann, and Janice Kay; one brother, Gene.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 10:00 AM Thursday, March 29, 2012 in the Arch L. Heady Russman and Sons Chapel, 1201 East Oak Street. Entombment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 – 8 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
