Born June 15, 1948, in Louisville, Kentucky, Bruce owned Brantley Security and Ushering Services from 1971, building a respected career through hard work and integrity. After retiring, he enjoyed a slower pace filled with travel, horseback riding, and outdoor activities with his beloved wife, Debi.
An avid outdoorsman, Bruce loved fishing, hunting, golfing, and gardening. He was also a gifted musician and a man of deepening Christian faith, which brought meaning and inspiration to his later years.
Bruce is survived by his wife, Deborah Parish Brantley, her daughter Sara Thornsberry, his children Amy Curran (Jeremy) and Ben K. Brantley, their mother, Laura Brake and his grandchildren Taylor Hoffman (Seth), Olivia Curran, and Paisley, Rhett, and Briggs Thornsberry. He is also survived by many other loving friends and family whose lives he touched with affection, wisdom, and faith.
Visitation will be held at Chapel in the Woods,1407 Moser Rd, Louisville, KY 40299 on Friday, May 23rd, 2025 from 1:30PM - 3:00PM, with a Memorial Service to follow at 3:00PM.
Bruce will be laid privately in Resthaven Memorial Park, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Louisville, Kentucky 40218.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to the Salvation Army, Hosparus Health, or the charitable organization of your choice.
