Carol June Keene, 82, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2025. She retired from Liberty National Bank after 35 years of service. Carol loved throwing Derby Parties and reading books outside on a pretty day. She enjoyed attending dances at Guardian Angels where she would stay out late and they all shared breakfast at Waffle House after the dances. Most of all, Carol enjoying spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren!
Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Keene; brothers, Jimmy, Eddie and Mike Hicks; niece, Karen; and brother-in-law, David Cook.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Ronald Keene (Becky), Robin Burton; grandchildren, Daniel Burton (Mo), Taylor Burton (Ashley), Lily Burton, Michael Keene; great grandchildren, Marissa, Emma, Gavin, Ruth Carol; sister, Sherry Cook; several nieces and nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
Visitation for Carol will be Thursday, January 16, 2025 at Arch L Heady & Son Funeral Home – Okolona Chapel from 2pm until 7pm. Her Funeral Service will be Friday, January 17, 2025 at 12:30pm at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow in Calvary Cemetery.
