Carol was preceded in death by her Parents, George and Donna Bynum Armstrong; Brother, Jim Armstrong; Sister, Susan Armstrong Cox; and Nephew, Mike Kasbaum.
She is survived by her Nephews: Scott (Ken) Kasbaum; Tony (Audrey) Cox; Niece: Katrina (Ryan) DeVinny; Niece-In-Law: Tish Kasbaum; Great Nieces: Mackenzie Kasbaum, Hannah Cox, Hailey Cox, Haydon Cox, Avery Cox. Great Nephews: Clint (Alexandria) Hindelang, Carter Devinny; and Great, Great Nephew: Trey Hindelang. Special Family/Friends: Angie (Will, Blake, Nathan) Barnett, Beverly (Butch) Hanby, Kim Jonason, Sue Bentley, Karen Head, Elizabeth Alexander, Dawn Wells.
Carol was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma. She was a tenured faculty member of Depts of Pediatrics and Psychiatry at OU Health Sciences Center as well as Chief Psychologist of the Child Study Center. She was in private practice of psychology at Jonason – Massey Associates and continued solo practice for many years.
She was a member of Highland Baptist Church and was an ambassador for both Heifer International and Smile Train.
