She was born to the late William and Penelope Sparks in Portsmith, Ohio. Carol's husband, Cosmas M. Willett, Jr., her infant son, Timothy, and family members, Gene Sparks, Cosmas and Gladys Willett, Judy, Bob and Mark Botti, and Cheryl Smith precede her in death.
Here to cherish her memory are her sister, Shirley (Will) Davidson, her children, Mike (Audrey) Willett, Craig (Kathie) Willett, Tommy Willett, Chris (Terri) Willett, and Marianne (Mike) Valley, her best friend Sue (Chas) Wills, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, cousins and friends.
Carol was a devoted woman. She was a member at Farmdale Church of the Nazarene and was a retired registered nurse from St. Mary and Elizabeth Hospital. Carol loved spending time with her family, reading the Bible and playing Words with Friends. Becoming a grandma was what made her most proud.
Visitation will occur on Friday, November 3rd from 4-8PM. A celebration of Carol's life will begin at 10AM on Saturday, November 4th, 2023. All services will be held at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Louisville, KY 40218
Carol will be laid to rest in Louisville Memorial Garden West following the funeral service.
