Carolyn Sue Jones

Carolyn was born in Letcher County, Kentucky on October 28, 1946, the daughter of Edgar Jones & Mattie Ingram. She graduated from Charleston High School and received her Business Degree from the University of Louisville. She worked in the Management Division of the KFC Corporation – YUM! Brands, where she retired. She was married on May 12, 1984 to William D. Jones. She was a devoted member of the Holy Cross Faith Memorial Episcopal Church and had a passion for traveling, gardening and her beloved birds.

Alongside her parents, Edgar & Mattie Jones, her husband, William D. Jones & sister, Berella Hall, precede Carolyn in her passing.

Left to cherish her unforgettable memory is her brother, Arlie (Patti) Jones; sister, Willa Strickler; nephew, Matthew (Casey) Jones; nieces, Amy Jones & Kara Jones; plus, a host of other relatives & friends to mourn her passing.

There will be no formal services. Carolyn will be entombed in the St. Mark Mausoleum of the Evergreen Cemetery & Garden Mausoleums.
