Carolyn Wall-Wertheim, 61 of Louisville, passed June 8, 2010 at her home with her beloved husband, son and best friend at her side. She was a practice and office manager for Dr. Raymond Shea MD, PSC since 1983 and a volunteer for Little Sisters of the Poor where her mom Francis DePoole lived until 2006. She was an avid frog collector and a loyal University of Louisville fan.
She is survived by her husband Michael A. Wertheim; a son, Christopher (Robyn); In-Laws, George and Phyllis Wertheim; a sister, Maureen Parker(Gary); a daughter, Beverly List; a god son Andrew Thomas; the family dogs, Frannie and Roxie; a child hood friend, Mary Beth DeSensi ; neighbor, Pat Barker (John) and many Family friends. Many thanks to the Consultants in Blood Disorders and Cancer Center, Baptist Hospital and Norton Hospital staffs and Doctors for the wonderful care she received during her illness.
A celebration Funeral Mass will be conducted at 10:30 on Friday, June 11, at Little Sisters of the Poor, 15 Audubon Plaza Drive with burial following in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 3-8 on Thursday, June 10 2010 at Arch L Heady at Resthaven.
Expressions of sympathy may be given to Little Sisters of the Poor.
