Catherine was born December 5, 1919 to Austin and Aline Roederer Hourihan. She was retired from General Electric, and devoted much time, love and compassion to both Guardian Angels Catholic Church and the Newburg Senior Citizen Center.
Catherine was preceded in death by her husband, Alber Krebs; her sons, Albert, A J and Frankie; her sisters, Corrine Hourihgan and Christine Beeston; and her granddaughter, Kimberely Krebs.
Catherine is survived by her granddaughter, Mary Catherine Kornrumpf (Greg); daughter-in-law, Denise Krebs; and great-granddaughter, Kayla Harbin.
A Celebration of Catherine's life will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Arch L. Heady-Russman Funeral Home, 1201 East Oak Street. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. on Tuesday, with Entombment in Resthaven Memorial Park.
