She was a member of the old St. Denis Catholic Church and attended Calvary Christian Center, Mt. Washington.
Mrs. Tate was preceded in rest by her husband, Murray, and son, Michael.
She is survived by her four children, James Murray Tate (Jean-Marie); Gary Tate (Laura), Debbie Tate and Craig Tate; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Dorothy Elmore.
Her funeral will be on Friday at 12 noon at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway, with interment following in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2pm until 8pm and on Friday from 10am until the time of service.
