Mr. Hughes was preceded in death by his wife Mary "Ethel" Hughes.
Survivors include his son Darrell "DC" Hughes (Carolyn); daughter Sue Massey (Jim); 7 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
His funeral service will be at 12:00 Noon Tuesday at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Okolona. Burial Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation Monday 11:00 A.M.-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
