Cecille was a kind, compassionate woman whose love of family was a close second to her faith in the Lord. Nobody baked a better cake than she did, and nobody could make you feel better when you were sick than she could, because everything she did was done out of love.
Waiting for Cecille in heaven are her husband of almost 50 years, Henry House, her parents, Alfred and Myrtle Moore, her sister, Irene Smith, and her best friend, Ruby Smith.
Left to cherish her memory and live out her legacy are her daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Steve Ilnick, Susie and Phil Garrett, and Cindy and Danny DeSpain; her grandchildren, Hank Garrett (Sara Deeley), Jill DeSpain McCall (Casey), Drew Ilnick (Kaitlin McCulloch), Aly DeSpain; her sister Lillian Ingram; and her friends and family members touched by her generous spirit.
For their kindness, during mother's illness, we would like to thank Dr. Mary Barry, Dr. Jane Cornett, Angie Etheridge and the nurses and staff at the Morton Rehab Center at the Episcopal Church Home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday August 17, 2013 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Benge, Kentucky. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Visitation in Louisville will be conducted from 3-8 PM on Friday at Arch L. Heady and Son at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Rd. with a remembrance service at 7:00 PM.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Morton Rehab Center at the Episcopal Church Home.
