Charles "Chuck" "Pops" Joseph Banks, 63, of Bardstown, Kentucky passed away peacefully on June 15, 2024. He was born on August 25, 1960 in Louisville, Kentucky and was the oldest child of the late Lee N. Banks & Mary Charles Banks.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Sherry Lynn Banks; his four children, Sarah Patel (Chanton Patel), Sidney Adair, Rachel Banks (Tyler Glasser), Ryan Banks and four grandchildren, Emma, Kira, Khloe and Garrett Patel.
He grew up in Fern Creek and was a loving husband, father and Pops. Chuck retired in 2021 after 30 years as a maintenance technician. He is an avid Kentucky wildcat fan and loved to hunt, fish and cook.
Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at Evergreen Funeral Home. Chuck will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery.
