He retired from General Electric and served his country during the Korean War and was a proud Army Veteran. He was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Doris Davis; son, Steven Davis (Dee); daughter. Karen Coleman (Robert Lane); grandsons, Jason Davis (Jessica), Christopher Coleman (Brandi); granddaughter, Brittini Young (Ryan); great grandchildren, Drew Davis and Lane Gabriel Coleman; special nieces, Brenda Nickles, Shannon Tinnell; and special nephew, Paul Tinnell.
Visitation will take place from 2-8pm Tuesday, December 26th at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven , 4400 Bardstown Road. The funeral will take place at 12pm Wednesday, December 27th at the funeral home; burial will take place at a later date. The family kindly suggests that expressions of sympathy be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
