Charlotte June Harris

Charlotte was born June 12, 1947, to the late Edward and Sophronia “Fronie” (Wise) Creekmore.

Charlotte was above all else a devoted Wife and Mother. She dedicated her life to caring for others, especially those she loved. Although small in stature, she was not to be underestimated. She didn’t shy away from hard work often sacrificing herself in the process. Those who loved her would describe her as strong, witty, beautiful woman with an adorable, unique laugh and a beautiful soul. For these and many other reasons she will be missed, but we also celebrate knowing she was saved and now home with her Lord and Savior in Heaven, free from pain and suffering, and reunited with those who have gone before her. Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Harris, two sisters, Georgia Durham, and Jacqueline Curtsinger, and two brothers, Edward Creekmore and John Creekmore.

Her legacy shall carry-on through her children, Paula Berry (Paul), Brenda Vest (Frank), Justin Harris (Kristina), her stepchildren, Trina Roader, Andrew Harris, Alan Harris, Alyssa Walker, and Brenda Chandler. Her grandchildren, Jennifer Miller (Jonathan), Tony Miller (Jacqueline), Brandy Brown (Rusty), Jesse Berry, David Johnson, Joe Johnson, Sarah Abbott (John), Ashley Yeager (Jon), Chasity Angeles, Stephanie Barnett, and Frank Jr Vest, her many great-grandchildren, and several nieces, and nephews.

Guests are invited to attend a visitation from 5-9 PM on Friday, August 22, 2025, at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. A funeral service will be held at 12pm on Saturday, August 23, 2025 in the funeral home chapel with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery.
