Our dearly beloved daughter, Chioma Obi, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital (Louisville, KY) at the tender age of 14. She was born on January 30, 2003, to Stanford and Gbemisola Obi. She graduated from Sacred Heart Model School, and was attending Assumption High School. She was an active member of various organizations at school, church and the community. She was one of a kind, a person who loved God above everything, and loved people. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and spending time with family and friends. Chioma’s positive attitude and sweet smile were contagious. Her bubbly personality was comforting, magnetic, and welcoming. We thank God for the 14 years of joy and wonders that she brought.
She is survived by her parents, three older sisters and one younger brother.
Visitation at 4pm-8pm on Dec. 29, 2017, at Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Road, Louisville, KY 40222. Celebration of Life at 12pm on Dec. 30, 2017, at Southeast Christian Church, 920 Blankenbaker Pkwy, Louisville, KY 40243. Visitation at the church one hour before service. Interment at Louisville Memorial Gardens East.
