Clara B Crowe

She was born in Knott County, Kentucky to Willie and Cora Caudill Brown. Her family moved to southern Indiana when Clara was a teenager; she attended Salem High School and was a "straight A" student. Clara worked as an executive secretary for several firms in Louisville and retired at age 70 after a 45+ year career.

Clara's life was dedicated to her family, to her career, and to all those she loved. She never complained and always, always put others before herself. She was a joy to all who knew her and will always be remembered as a wonderful wife, sister, grandmother, and aunt whose quiet giving spirit will be missed forever. She loved yellow roses, all animals, cool autumn weather, and cooking her her family.

She was predeceased by her parents, her brothers Larry Brown and Darrell Brown, and brother-in-law Donald Daugherty.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Charles Wm. Crowe; her stepdaughter, Carollee Crowe; her grandsons Alex Crowe and Tyler Crowe; her sister Carol Brown Daugherty; her brother Wayne Brown (Krissy); her nephew Bryan Daugherty (Kathy); her niece Karen Sue Albin (Chris); her sister-in-law Gladys Brown; her sister-in-law Janet Brown; and multiple grand-nieces and nephews.
