Clarence proudly served his country in the US Air Force spending time in Germany. He loved the water, fishing, and going on any type or length of cruises he could! His family came first as shown by his requirement for everyone’s attendance at the annual family reunions.
There were two quotes about Clarence that seem to sum up his character…” He was a man’s man” and “He lived his life on his own terms”. He will be greatly missed.
Clarence was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Judith Brooks, Frieda Tripp, Diann L. Robinson; and his fur baby, Lady.
Left to cherish Clarence’s memory is his sister, Shirley Miller; children, Irene Taylor (Matthew), Elizabeth Kelley (Roosevelt), Andre O. Bailey (Debra), Celina Bailey; a host of grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and several extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation for Clarence will be held at Arch L. Heady – Okolona Chapel, 8519 Preston Hwy 40219, on Thursday, September 25, 2025 from 4pm until 6pm.
Clarence chose cremation.
Arrangements are under the direction of Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home - Okolona Chapel, "Where Personal And Sincere Service Is Tradition."
