Clifford S. Ward Jr.

Clifford Silas Ward, Jr., was born on September 25, 1961 in Plattsburgh, New York to the late Clifford Silas Ward, Sr., and Eleanor Rose (Defayette) Ward, and passed away peacefully on March 18, 2026. He was 64.

Clifford was a a loving brother, uncle, and friend whose life was marked by resilience, quiet strength, and a deep appreciation for the simple things. He faced life’s challenges with courage and perseverance, leaving a lasting impression on those who knew him.

He shared a special bond with his brother, Michael who cared for him with unwavering devotion through the years, a reflection of true love and loyalty.

Clifford had a deep love for music, especially classic rock. He was rarely without his radio always listening always singing along. Music wasn’t just something he enjoyed, if was part of who he was. Bringing him comfort, joy, and a connection to the world around him.

Though distance sometimes kept family apart, he remained close in heart to those loved him.

He is survived by his brother Michael and his nieces and nephews, including Nicola Heil (Ward), who held a special place in his life; along with Derrick Schmidt and Mindy Schmidt; as well as many great- nieces and great-nephews.

We take peace in knowing he is now at rest in God’s presence, reunited with those who have gone before him. May he rest in eternal peace.

Funeral service for Clifford will be held 1 pm on Tuesday March 31, 2026 in the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son: 3601 Taylor Blvd. with interment to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Monday from 3-8 pm (R.I.P. Hairdog).
