Cora was a member of the Eastern Star and the Moose Lodge #5. Music was her passion; she was a well-known country music entertainer at Renfro Valley. Along with her music, family meant everything to her; she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Along with her husband, Joseph Burgin, she is predeceased by her 4 siblings.
Here to carry on her beautiful memory are her children, Debbi Newcomb (Terry) and Fred Burgin (Judy); grandchildren, Laura Blair, Angela Hutchison (Paul), Stephanie Cook and Shanea Newcomb; great grandchildren, Devin Hutchison, Keirston Cook, Timothy Moriarty, Gamaal Maples, Logan Blair, Kaylee Moriarty, Brandon Maples and Zuri Maples; along with many other family and friends who will miss her dearly.
A visitation will take place on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 from 2-8p.m. at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road. Also, there will be a visitation prior to the service on Thursday, from 11-12pm at the funeral home, with the funeral service starting at 12pm. The burial will take place at Highland Memory Gardens, 279 Landis Lane, Mt. Washington, KY.
