Damon was a U of L graduate where he earned Bachelors Degrees in both business management and economics. He was a long time employee of IATSE Local 17 and a member of U of L Alumni Association.
Damon is survived by his parents, Martha and George Miller, his sister, Stephanie Miller Klap (Sacha) and nephews, Charlie and Jules Klap. Damon is also survived by many aunts, uncles & cousins and innumerable friends & co-workers, two dogs and three cats.
A funeral service to celebrate Damon’s life will be conducted at 12 noon on Thursday, August 25, 2016 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Guests are invited to attend a visitation on Wednesday, August 24 from 12-3pm & 5-8pm and after 9am the day of the funeral.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Cardinal Athletic Fund in Damon’s honor or to your favorite charity in his honor.
