Daniel “Dan-o” F. Byrne Jr., 63, of Louisville, passed away November 1, 2015. He was born August 14, 1952 to Norma Franke Byrne and the late Daniel F. Byrne Sr. Danny was a 1970 graduate of Butler High School, attended WKU, and graduated from the University of Louisville Dental School in 1979. He married the love of his life, Vicky, on August 11, 1973.
Danny was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and most of all, Pa Pa. He was adored by his family. Danny was a dentist for over 30 years and he loved his devoted patients. He will be truly missed.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 43 years, Vicky Jones Byrne, children; Jamie Baldwin (John), Brian (Candice) and Andy (Jill), his mother, Norma Byrne, his brother, Steve (Merry) and brother-in-law, Wally, grandchildren; Daniel, Aiden, Molly, Brock, Lilly, Peyton, Gunner and Boone, nephews; Jake Byrne and Zachary Byrne (Amy), and several wonderful loving friends.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his brother, Larry Byrne.
A Celebration of Life will be held, Thursday November 5, 2015 at 6 pm at Shively Baptist Church, 1599 Sadie Lane, Louisville KY 40216.
Visitation will be Thursday from 2 pm until the time of service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Shively Baptist Church.
