Daniel was born to the late Joseph and Anna Marie Drexler on November 24, 1937.
Also preceding him in passing is his loving wife of what would’ve been 64 years, Ima Jean Drexler along with his 7 siblings, Bill, Junior, Sis, Eddie, Virgina, Biba, Kathleen, and Carolyn.
Daniel proudly served his nation as a tanker in the Army for two years, before his career at Kentucky Printing where he spent many years, after that he retired from Gateway Press with over 15 years of dedicated service.
Daniel had many nicknames throughout his life, “Dan the Man”, “Mr. D.”, and “Dirty Dan”. His slogan was “Shoot pool, Drink Beer, Chase Girls and Have Fun.”. When Daniel was young, he enjoyed bowling, drag racing, and playing horseshoes. As he got older, he spent his time at the lake with his children and grandchildren. There they would enjoy time on the boat as a family which was Daniels favorite place to be. His family was the light of his world. He wanted to spend every moment he could with his children and grandchildren.
Left to cherish the memories of Daniel are his children, Danny Drexler Jr (Kathy), Rita Drexler Jarrett (Bobby), Gayla Drexler, Julie Drexler (Patrick Hargrove), along with his 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Daniel enjoyed every day of life and left behind so many memories for his family to cherish throughout the years to come.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
