David is preceded in passing by his mother Theresa Whitworth. Here to carry on his memory is his wife Arden Whitworth; father David Lee Whitworth, Sr.; children Josh (Lauren) Elizabeth (Chris), Rebecca, Nathaniel, and Jacob; sisters Lisa Price (Johnny) and Tina Mills (Robert); grandchildren Eli David, Abigail, Stella, Amelia, and Finley, and countless extended family and friends.
David was a proud U.S. Navy Desert Storm War Veteran and U.S. Navy hospital Corpmen LPN. He went on to receive his degree from Galen Health Institute and to serve as a medic, nurse, and caregiver. David’s favorite hobbies included hunting and fishing, and he was a proud KY State Fair Winner for his famous Deer Jerky. He was also a true master of the grill, an avid Greenbay Packers and UofL fan, and enjoyed listening to country music. David was always known as the life of the party, he will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
A visitation will be held Thursday, June 3, 2021 from 2:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road. A funeral service in David’s honor will begin Friday at 12:00 pm at the funeral home. David will be laid to rest in Resthaven Memorial Park.
