

Ron is survived by his loving wife Judy Bott of 62 years. His children, Rhonda (Kevin) Pendigragh, Greg (Rene) Bott, and Cynthia (Brock) Hutt/Bott. His 11 grandchildren, Shaun, Nicole, Lindsey, Chelsie, Madison, Gannon, Austin, Taylor, Lauren, Lindsay, and Isaac. As well as 9 great grandchildren. Ron has several nieces and nephews. Ron has one sister, Joyce (Micky) burke. He is also survived by his loving companion Tia a calico cat.
Ron is preceded in death by his parents James and Gustie Bott and a sister Jance Simpson.
The world lost a loving man. Ron was a loving husband, father, grand father, brother, and friend.
Ron started wrapping presents at Bacon's department stores during Christmas time at the age of 17 and retired after 39 years. Later on he worked 10 years at the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office and another 15 years working at Allied Universal.
While at Bacon's, Ron and his family were transferred to Montana. For 7 years, Ron was a department manager. They enjoyed the great state and all it had to offer.
Ron loved fishing and working with wood. Buying a place at Rough River, Ron was able to do all the fishing and building things from wood to his heart's continent. Spending 20 years there he made many good friends. Ron will be missed.

A visitation for Ron will be held at Arch L Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home 4400 Bardstown Road Louisville, Kentucky 40218 on Monday, June 23, 2025 from 4-8PM. A funeral service will be the following morning on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at 10AM in the funeral homes chapel. Ron will be laid to rest at Resthaven Memorial Park.
